Central Football Takes a Hit With Campbell Injury

(Park Hills) With 11 wins last year and double digit starters returning on both sides of the ball, the Central Rebels appeared to be poised for a huge football season this year. And while their aspirations remain intact this season, the Rebels took a huge hit when all state talent Triston Campbell suffered a season ending ACL tear this week in practice. Here coach Kory Schweiss…

Schweiss has seen some tremendous talent come through the area over the years, and he puts Campbell in that group of real difference makers…

Schweiss says the roster had lined up for Central to have a teriffic season…

Campbell had pledged to play for the Air Force Academy next year, and the coaches of the Falcons have already made contact with Triston and told him they will honor his scholarship.
