OCT 27-NOV 10, 2014 GIRL SCOUT TROOP 2552 WINTER WARM UP


Girl Scout Troop 2552 will have their annual Winter Warm Up Monday, October 27th through Monday, November 10th. Donations of gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves, boots, etc...will be accepted. Drop off locations are, Walmart in Desloge and Farmington, Country Mart in Park Hills, Farmington and Bonne Terre, Save-A-Lot in Farmington and Park Hills, and Lix in Farmington.

OCT 29-31, 2014 ALL SAINTS MUSEUM AT ELVINS BAPTIST CHURCH


The Elvins Baptist Church will present the All Saints Museum starting Wednesday, October 29th through Friday October 31st from 5:30 to 8:30 pm each evening. They'll have activities, crafts, and treats for kids of all ages. You'll also tour 2000 years of history and enjoy a harvest fellowship while supplies last. On Friday, October 31st they'll also have trick or treating.

OCT 30-31, 2014 VALLEY CLASS OF 2015 HAUNTED HOUSE IN CALEDONIA


The Valley of Caledonia Class of 2015 is hosting at haunted house tonight and tomorrow night from 7 until 11 at the Red Barn on Webster Road in Caledonia. There will be chili, hot dogs and soda for purchase. Admission is 5 dollars for adults and 3 dollars for kids 12 and under.

OCT 31, 2014 TRUNK OR TREAT AT ELLINGTON HOSPITAL


Southeast Health Center will host a trunk or treat in from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, October 31st at the Hospital in Ellington.

Cornerstone Community Church in Park Hills is having a Halloween Festival at 6pm on Friday, October 31st with games, candy and a bonfire.

OCT 31, 2014 HALLOWEEN FAIR AND WALK IN VIBURNUM


There will be a Halloween Fair and Haunted Walk tomorrow (Friday) night from 7 until 9 at the Elmer P. Beard Gymnasium in Viburnum. There will be trick or treating, games and prizes. It's 2-dollars per person. This event is presented by the Viburnum Class of 2015.

OCT 31, 2014 COSTUME CONTEST & HAUNTED FIRE HOUSE IN BONNE TERRE


The Bonne Terre Firehouse will host a Halloween Costume contest and Haunted Fire House on Friday, October 31st at 6pm. This is a fun and safe time for the whole family.

OCT 31, 2014 CANDY MOUNTAIN AT SOLID ROCK FAMILY CHURCH


The Solid Rock Family Church presents Candy Mountain on October 31st from 6pm until 8pm. A Halloween alternative for kids ages 12 and under, there will be bounce houses, popcorn and hot chocolate, and a mountain of candy. For more info call 573-756-7526.

The United Assembly of God Church on Highway 8 in Gumbo will have a fall festival and trunk or treat on Friday, October 31st from 5 to 7pm. Many activities are planned, games, prizes, candy and more.

NOV 1, 2014 CHILI & HOT DOG DINNER AT ESTHER METHODIST CHURCH


Esther Methodist Church will have a chili and hot dog dinner from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, November 1st. Adults dinners are $5 and children are $3.

An After Halloween-Halloween Party will be held Saturday at the Mineral Area Community Elks Lodge in Desloge at 6 pm. Members & their guests are invited to wear a costume and bring finger food.

Fredericktown will have their annual "Freakytown" downtown around the court square on Saturday, November 1st from 5 to 8 pm. They'll have candy, games, a costume contest and more.

The Leadwood Methodist Church will have a bazaar and all you can eat breakfast on Saturday, November 1st from 7 to 10:30 am. Available will be eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits & gravy. Adult tickets are $5 dollars, children 6 to 12 are $3 dollars and under 5 is free.

NOV 1, 2014 ST. MICHAEL'S HOUSE RUMMAGE SALE IN CADET


There will be a rummage sale on Saturday, November 1st from 9 until 1 at St. Michael's House at the junction of Highway 21 and 'C-C' across from Washington State Park on the grounds of the Rural Parish Workers of Christ the King. Items for sale includes clothing, shoes, household items, linens, purses, toys, furniture, books, lamps and more.

NOV 1, 2014 20TH ANNUAL PARKLAND TOY RUN


The 20th annual Parkland Toy Run is Saturday, November 1st beginning at CiCi's Pizza in Farmington. Registration is from 9 to 11am. All motorcycles, cars, trucks, vans, and hot rods are welcome and are asked to bring an unwrapped toy and canned good. The parade will go through Leadington, Park Hills, Desloge and Bonne Terre and will end at the Mineral Area Community Elks in Desloge with a chili

NOV 1, 2014 CRYSTAL OAKS FOUNDATION TRIVIA NIGHT IN FESTUS


The Crystal Oaks Foundations is hosting a Halloween themed trivia night and silent auction on Saturday, November 1st at the KC Hall in Festus. Doors open at 6:30, trivia begins at 7 pm. St. Joseph Parish of Apple Creek near Perryville will have their fall festival on Sunday, November 2nd from 11am until 2pm with a buffet style dinner, country store and more. Take the I-55 Biehle exit and go south on Highway B one mile, then left on Highway F 5 miles.

The St. Francois County Mental Health Board will host a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, November 6th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the North College Center at Mineral Area College in Park Hills. Information shared at the meeting will be used to find solutions for better services in the areas and providers will be on hand with information about available services and eligibility criteria.
