The Farmington VFW will serve up fish and chicken dinners every Friday evening during the month of March starting at 5 for eight dollars. Proceeds from Friday Night Fryers go to the programs the VFW supports.

MAR 27, 2015 "HOOPS WITH OUR HEROES" FUNDRAISER IN FREDERICKTOWN


The "Hoops With Our Heroes" fundraiser basketball tournament will take place on Friday, March 27th at the Kelly A. Burlison Middle School in Fredericktown at 6pm. The cost is $5 dollars for adults and #3 dollars for children. Under age 5 is free. Proceeds will benefit the Shop With A Cop program.

MAR 27-29, 2015 SOLID ROCK CHURCH LADIES CONFERENCE IN FARMINGTON


The Solid Rock Church's 10th Annual Ladies' Conference will be March 27th-29th. Friday will have a dessert buffet with a chocolate fountain at 7pm. Saturday morning before the service there will be pastries and coffee served at 8:15am, service starts at 9:15, then for registered guests a brunch will be served along with a Dinner Theater at 4:30pm. The Reynolds County Struttin Gobblers will be having their Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet on Friday March 27th. It will be held at the Reynolds County Fairgrounds in Redford, doors open at 6pm. The Farmington Kiwanis will hold a pancake breakfast Saturday morning at the Methodist church in Farmington. Tickets are only five dollars. The Easter Bunny will also be there.

The Mineral Area College Relay for Life team will host a 5K run/walk Saturday, March 28, beginning at 8 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. The top three finishers for male and female groups 35-under and 36-over will receive prizes. Pre-registration is $20 if registered by March 20. Registration will be $25 day of the race.
