OCT 4-29, 2014 FARMINGTON VFW BREAKFAST EVERY WED. & SAT.DURING OCTOBER


The Farmington VFW will serve up breakfast on Wednesdays and Saturdays during October starting at 7 o'clock. It's five dollars for eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and more .On Saturdays they'll serve BBQ in the afternoon. Proceeds go to the programs the VFW supports. The public is invited.

OCT 23, 2014 UNITED WAY'S DINE OUT AT HARDEE'S


Hardee's in Leadington and Bonne Terre will be the featured restaurants on Thursday, October 23rd for the Dine Out for the United Way of St. Francois County program. They'll donate a portion of what they make that day to the United Way.

OCT 23, 2014 UNITED WAY'S GIRLS NIGHT OUT AT TWIN OAKS WINERY


The United Way’s Girls Night Out is on Thursday, October 23, from 5-7 p.m. at Twin Oaks Vineyard & Winery. In Farmington. $20 and an unwrapped toy will give you 2 hours of fun filled laughter and some great quality time with friends

The Ste. Genevieve VFW will have a Burger Night with hamburgers, pork burgers and fish tomorrow (Friday) starting at 4:30pm to support local youth and community activities. All are welcome.

There will be a revival on Friday, October 24th and 25th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 26th at 10:45 a.m. at the Centerville Assembly of God Church.

OCT 24, 2014 SOUTHEAST ECONIMIC DEVEIOPMENT FUND BUSINESS COURSE IN PARK HILLS


A 12 session course on starting a business, enhancing an existing one, and innovative ideas and concepts for a successful business is being offered by the Southeast Economic Development Fund. SEMO Family Violence Council's Spooktacular Trivia night is Friday, October 24th at Stone Park Resort in Bonne Terre at 6 pm. OCT 25, 2014 GREAT PUMPKIN FESTIVAL IN THE TWIN CITIES


The Great Pumpkin Festival will take place in Festus/Crystal City on Saturday, October 25th from 10am to noon. Businesses displaying an orange pumpkin in their window will be handing out candy to children accompanied by an adult. There's also a costume contest and judging is in front of Metro Office Supply. OCT 28, 2014 UNITED WAY FUNDRAISER AT CENTENE CENTER IN FARMINGTON


The choirs of North County and Farmington High School and Middle School will present a concert as a fundraiser for the United Way of St. Francois County on Tuesday, October 28th at 7 pm at the Centene Center in Farmington. A minimum donation of $5 dollars per family is asked as admission. Their goal is to raise $3000 dollars and 100% of the proceeds collected will go to the United Way.

The First Baptist Church in Ironton is having a Fall Fun Night on Wednesday, October 29 from 5 to 7pm with food, candy and games.

The Elvins Baptist Church will present the All Saints Museum starting Wednesday, October 29th through Friday October 31st from 5:30 to 8:30 pm each evening. They'll have activities, crafts, and treats for kids of all ages. You'll also tour 2000 years of history and enjoy a harvest fellowship while supplies last. On Friday, October 31st they'll also have trick or treating.

OCT 30, 2014 JAZZ DINNER CONCERT FUNDRAISER IN VIBURNUM


There will be a dinner concert featuring hot and spicy jazz on Thursday, October 30th at 6 p.m. at the Elmer P. Beard Gymnasium in Viburnum. Tickets are 7 dollars for adults and 5 for kids. All proceeds will go the school's band program. You can purchase tickets at the high school office in Viburnum.
