(Wappapello Lake) The Wappapello Lake and its parks are being forced to shorten seasons and cut back on services due to diminishing allocations.
Greenville Park will be open from March 30th to November 20th, Peoples Creek Lower opens April 20th with Peoples Creek upper on
May 24th, Redman West opens on April 6th and Redman East on March 24th. Assistant Operations Manager at Wappapello Lake, James Gracey

Gracey says much of the student and summer employees are also not being hired. However, the Corps is offerring free camp sites to
individuals or groups that will volunteer to help with hosting the parks or other upkeep.
