FEB 19, 2011 BODY FOUND IN TRUCK IS IDENTIFIED

(DeSoto) Authorities have identified the body found in Jefferson County. The body of 32-year-old Robert Powell Junior of Hillsboro was found in the back of a his truck, just north of DeSoto. He was wraped in a carpet pad and tarp, but there were no physical signs that would indicate how he died. The Jefferson County Sheriffs Department is investigating the death and hope to find out more from the toxicology report. No arrests have been made at this time. Powell was reported missing on February 11th, but hadn't been seen the prior week.
