FEB 20/2012 SERIOUS ACCIDENT IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

(Jefferson County) Two people were hurt, one seriously, in a late night traffic accident in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car driven by 32 year old Joseph Corder of Pacific ran off the road on Highway 141.

It then went down an embankment, hit a tree and overturned.

Corder suffered serious injuries in the accident, while his passenger, 40 year old Kelli Mathis of Arnold sustained moderate injuries.

The accident happened last night around 10:30 on 141, north of Highview Drive.
