(Farmington) Federal inmates are returning to the Saint Francois County Jail after the U.S. Marshall's Service pulled them out after allegations of an inmate assault.

Sheriff Dan Bullock says that move impacted their budget.

The jail in Farmington usually houses two dozen federal inmates with the normal bed count at 168.
