(Festus) Regional Radio has just learned that the Festus man who crashed his motorcycle on Sunday in Jefferson County, succumbed to his injuries and passed away Monday (Aug 20). According to the highway patrol, Daniel Placher was on Old State Route A when he drove off the road and was ejected from his bike. He was taken to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries but could not recover. Placher was 28-years-old.
