Festus resident Bertha "Bootsie" LaPlant died Tuesday, she was 90, a homemaker, and a member of the Chruch of Our Lady in Festus.
She is survived by her daughters Brenda Broadfoot, Pam LaPlant, son Ron LaPlant all of Festus, 3 sisters including Jeanette Smock of Festus, and 3 grandchildren.
The funeral service for Bertha "Bootsie" LaPlant is Thursday morning at 10 at the Church of Our Lady in Festus, burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City.
Visitation is Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 at the Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
