FLOODING STILL AN ISSUE AT CRYSTAL CITY'S COMMERFORD STADIUM (Audio)




(Crystal City) As football camp wraps up for the Crystal City Hornets, the turf football field continues to have flood problems. The Hornets had to conduct camp in the outfield of the baseball field, and head coach Ken Weik says it's been a little frustrating, but it still went very well.

Overall, Weik thought that the 8 days of camp went pretty well. August practices for fall high school sports will start on August 9th, and the first varsity football game for Crystal City will be on August 27th with a trip to Brentwood.
