MUM's Cafe is serving a free dinner Thursday evening at 5 in the Fellowship Hall at the Farmington Memorial United Methodist Church.
FEB 3, 2016 FARMINGTON VFW BREAKFAST

The Farmington VFW will serve breakfast to the public on Wednesday morning starting at seven o'clock for six dollars all you can eat. Proceeds benefit veterans programs. At the same time, there will be a farmer's market at the VFW from 7-11.

St. Joseph Parish in Farmington is serving an authentic Greek dinner Sunday at Our Fathers Table in downtown Farmington. Any who would like a meal may come between 4 and 6pm.

A Soil Health/Cover Crop Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3rd from 8:30am to 3pm at The VFW Hall in Ste. Genevieve sponsored by Loida Ag Service. Speakers will be Lauren Cartwright, NRCS State Economist, Linus Rothermick, a corn and soy bean farmer from Calloway County, Richard Hoorman, MU Extension Agronomist as well as seed and equipment vendors. The community is invited to a FREE public showing of the documentary THAT SUGAR FILM by Damon Gameau on Monday, February 1 (1 p.m.) and Tuesday, February 2 (6:30 p.m.) at the Farmington Public Library. THAT SUGAR FILM is one man’s journey to discover the bitter truth about sugar. Damon Gameau embarks on a unique experiment to document the effects of a high sugar diet on a healthy body, consuming only foods that are commonly perceived as ‘healthy.’ Hosted by Prevention Parkland.

An attorney from Legal Services of Eastern Missouri will be on hand from 10am to noon on Wednesday, February 3rd at the Washington County Library in Potosi to provide no-cost legal assistance to low income persons experiencing civil legal problems excluding criminal and traffic court matters.
