The Farmington VFW will serve fish and chicken dinners to the public for eight dollars tomorrow evening 5 until 7. Proceeds benefit veterans programs.

The Book of Ruth will perform at Columbia Park in Park Hills on Saturday August 29th, from 2 to 4. Bring your lawn chairs . Sponsored byFirst Baptist Church Park Hills. Free admission, but a Love offering will be taken. In case of rain it will be moved to First Baptist Church Park Hills, at 12 North Coffman Street.

The Tri-County Relay for Life for Reynolds, Wayne and Carter counties will begin Friday night at 6 and wrap up Saturday morning at 6 at the Reynolds County Fairgrounds in Redford. Everyone is welcome to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

AUG 27, 2015 UNITED WAY'S DINE OUT AT EL TAPATIO IN PARK HILLS

El Tapitio in Park Hills will be the featured restaurant on August 27th for the Dine Out Thursday program for the United Way of St. Francois County. El Tapitio in Park Hills will donate a portion of what they make that day to the United Way.
AUG 25, 2015 ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY MEETING

The St. Francois County Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, August 25th at 7pm at the Farmington Firehouse.
AUG 24, 2015 MAC COMMUNITY BAND START-UP REHEARSAL

The Mineral Area College Community Band will start rehearsals on Monday, August 24th at 7pm in the MAC Band Room. The Community Band is open to to all instrumentalists from high school age on and there is no charge to be a member.
AUG 28-30, 2015 CIVIL WAR DAYS IN PATTERSON

Civil War Days at Fort Benton in Patterson takes place Friday, August 28th through Sunday the 30th. Friday's activities start at 3, Saturday at 7 a.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m. Fort Benton is on Highway 34, ten miles east of Piedmont.
AUG 29, 2015 MAC FLIX CLUB PRESENTS THE NIGHT STALKER

There's a yard sale, bake sale, and snow cones from 8am to 1pm plus a fish fry from 11am to 1pm at Sissys Corner Cafe in Bismarck for 12 year old Logan Pulliam who was injured in an accident. Proceeds will go toward his family and medical expenses.

There's a mouse race fundraiser for the dancers of Odele's Dance Studio on Friday, August 28th at 7pm at All Occasions Banquet Hall in Park Hills. VFW, DAV, and American Legion service officers will available from 9am to noon on Wednesday, August 26th at the American Legion Post in Farmington to assist and inform veterans and their families regarding VA claims.
AUG 29, 2015 "RYAN'S RUN" FUNDRAISER IN PERRYVILLE

Ryan's Run will take place on Saturday, August 29th at 7:30 am at the Perry Park Center in Perryville. Registration begins at 6:45 am. Proceeds will benefit the Ryan A, Berhle Scholarship Fund.

The Farmington Masonic Lodge will have a pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, August 29th from 7 to 10am. The cost is $6 dollars at the door.
AUG 24, 2015 MASTER GARDENER 11 WEEK CLASS OFFERED BY MU EXTENSION

The University of Missouri Extension will offer an 11 week Master Gardener course on Mondays starting on August 24th and ending November 9th. The course will be held at the North College Center at Mineral Area College in Park Hills from 6 to 9pm. The cost is $165.00. For more information call 883-3548.
