10th Ranked Central vs Number One Kennett in Class 4 Sectional on J-98

(Park Hills) There may not be a hotter team in Missouri than the 10th-ranked Central baseball team. After starting the year 1-3, the Rebels have won 19 straight games and surge into the Class Four state playoffs at 20-3. Central coach Ronnie Calvird says the key to their win streak has been the leadership of the senior class.

However, there also might not be a team with a taller task. Central plays the defending state champion and number one ranked Kennett squad in tonight’s sectional in Park Hills. The 23-4 Indians wrecked the competition last year outscoring their opponents 38-11 in the playoffs. Coach Calvird says that the Indians are a complete team.
