(Farmington) Another very successful Help the Hungry Bake Sale and Auction was held Saturday in Farmington.
The day was highlighted by a live and silent auction along with a Cookin’ Clergy Auction and a wreath raffle.
Money raised goes to the two food pantries in Farmington.
Chris Landrum is the organizer of the event.
We asked her why Help the Hungry has become such a popular fundraiser in the community.
Nancy Sullivan is also on the organizing committee and serves on the board for the Farmington Ministerial Alliance.
She knows first hand how important this event is.
Initial estimates indicate the auction raised $126,000 for the two food pantries in Farmington.
The event was held Saturday at the St. Joseph Catholic School Gymnasium in Farmington.
