(FESTUS) Jefferson running back and linebacker Andrew Graves wrapped up an illustrious football career with a Regional Radio Dream Team Player of the Year award. Graves appears 12 times in the Missouri State Record Book, ten for offensive achievements and two for special teams.

Of course, Graves has a favorite.

Graves is referring to the game against St. Vincent on October 16th, 2015 when he not only ran for 445 yards, good for 11th all-time in Missouri, but he also had 465 all-purpose yards, which ranks 9th. Regarding the success Graves has had in his career, “amazing” head coach Alex Rouggly, as he puts it, is a big reason behind it.

The appreciation Graves has for people in his life goes beyond just Coach Rouggly.

Other football state records that’ll wow you are 8th in career rushing yards with 6,543 in 41 games, 4th in total touchdowns in a career with 113, 4th in total points for a career with 740, and tied for 2nd in most punt returns for a TD in a career with 6.

Andrew Graves will be playing Legion baseball this summer for Festus Post 253 while deciding where he wants to continue his academic and athletic career.
