Over 230 Acres of Land Burn in Washington County

(Richwoods) Numerous firefighters battled several brush fires Thursday as high winds stoked those flames.
There were two fires in Washington County.
The largest one was located between Potosi and Hillsboro.
Hillsboro Fire Chief Brian Gaudet had a crew helping with those fires in Washington County along with several other fire departments.
Gaudet tells us about the other brush fire in Washington County.
They are still investigating the cause of the first fire. Some departments assisting with these fires were a strike team from Jefferson County, along with crews from Potosi, Belgrade, Richwoods, Sullivan and several other fire departments.
