16 Year Old Boy Killed In St. Francois County Accident

(Bonne Terre) A 16 year old boy from Bonne Terre was killed and three other people were injured Wednesday in a three vehicle traffic accident on Highway 8 at Harmon Road in St. Francois County.

The highway patrol says a car driven by a juvenile was driving west on Route 8 as was a second car, driven by 21 year old Aleisha Radford of Bonne Terre.

The first car then swerved to the left to try and avoid a collision with Radford’s vehicle, which was slowing down in anticipation of a left turn onto Harmon Road.

The first car hit her’s and then traveled into the eastbound lane of the road, hitting a third vehicle, a truck driven by 79 year old George Arnold.

The name of the juvenile killed hasn’t been released.

Another 16 year old boy in the car was moderately injured and flown to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Arnold and his passenger were also injured and taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.
