(Farmington) There are now 5,807 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Missouri with 177 deaths.

Five deaths are from Franklin County, three in Jefferson while St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Cape Girardeau counties have 1 death each.

There are 222 confirmed cases in Jefferson County, 99 in Franklin County, 38 in Perry, 36 in Cape Girardeau County, 23 in St. Francois, 7 in Ste. Genevieve County, Crawford and Washington counties have 5, Bollinger has 3, Iron and Reynolds have 2 cases while Madison County has 1 case.

Dent and Wayne counties are still reporting zero confirmed cases.

The top 3 age groups acquiring the virus in Missouri is 589 cases for those 55 to 59 years old, followed by 564 for the 60 to 64 age group and the 50 to 54 age group has 542 cases.

The age group with the least amount of cases in Missouri is those under 20 with 141 confirmed cases.

The U.S. now has 766,664 confirmed cases and 42,186 deaths.

Both numbers for the U.S. are more than any other country on the planet.
