(2-0) Farmington vs (0-2) Hillsboro on KREI
(Farmington) Farmington and Hillsboro have met on the gridiron four times in the last four seasons and have split those meetings right down the middle.
Each team won a home game last year in a pair of shootouts with Hillsboro taking the regular season meeting and Farmington claiming the playoff game. Farmington coach Erik Kruppe says the Hawks offense gives defenses a lot to think about.
The Knights are averaging over eight yards per carry through the first two games, both wins. Coach Kruppe says the triple-option starts with their leading rusher, fullback Brayden Bodkin.
Hillsboro comes into the game at 0-2, but coach Lee Freeman is optimistic with this bunch.
Freeman gives the Knights some high praise.
Farmington all-state linebacker Roper Garrett joins Chad on the call on AM 800 KREI.
