(HERCULANEUM) The Herculaneum girls basketball team won 20-plus games for just the second time in program history, going 22-4 this season before falling to Principia in the Class 3 District 4 semifinals.

8th year head coach Riley Blair gives a lot of credit to the success this season to a driven senior class.

On top of that, coach Blair says this year’s upperclassmen set a good example for the next influx of players.

Coach Blair reflects on his favorite aspect of the four seniors.

The Herculaneum Blackcat seniors are Ashley Lodike, Lauren Partney, Rae Ann Fuller and Emily Fischer. 22-4 is the second best record in Herculaneum girls basketball history, behind the 1996 team that went 26-1 and made it the state quarterfinals.
