Salem Student Arrested, Charged For Terrorist Threat

(SALEM, Mo.) – A Salem High School student was charged with making a terrorist threat over the weekend.

Salem News Online reports that court documents say Manual Lee, 17, allegedly posted on Snapchat Friday with a message saying “G… D… people getting me into trouble. There’s a storm coming and it’s going to hit Salem R-80 hard.”

A school official alerted the Salem Police Department. Officers arrested Lee after searching his residence and seizing 14 knives and 11 firearms.

On Saturday, Lee was charged with first-degree felony of a terrorist threat. He is being held at the Dent County Jail with a $25,000 bond.
