St. Francois County Canine Unit Taking A Bite Out Of Crime

(St. Francois County) The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department is doing whatever it can to help take a bite of out crime. That includes using Teo, a 2 year old German Shepherd, that’s been with the department for almost six months. Nathan Glore is the dog’s handler.   He says Teo came a long way to help fight crime in St. Francois County.

Glore says Teo is actually a very friendly dog, until it comes time to get down to business.

The dog and the training that came with him was made possible through a private donation. Glore says it can cost up to 80 thousand dollars to purchase a dog like Teo and then send him and it’s handler to get trained. Hear more about Teo by clicking on the link below.
