(HILLSBORO) Jefferson College is losing its Athletic Director at the end of the month as Greg McVey is taking the same position at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

On KJFF Sports Talk Wednesday, McVey shared his thoughts on the success of the softball and baseball teams this season.

McVey extended the conversation to praise all the people that were in place when he took the job three years ago and they’re effectiveness during his time.

McVey is proud of many things Jefferson College has been able to achieve while he’s been the AD.

Greg McVey’s last day as Jefferson College Athletic Director is June 28th. The College of DuPage is a two-year community college with a little over 26,000 students. McVey says the DuPage mascot is a Chaparral, which is essentially a roadrunner. McVey will begin his new position with the college on July 2nd.
