SEC Commissioner not a Fan of College Sports Gambling

(Farmington) The Supreme Court’s recent decision to legalize sports gambling may have opened a Pandora’s Box.

S.E.C. Commissioner Greg Sankey shares his thoughts of gambling on college games.

In May, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a 1992 federal law that barred legalized sports gambling in most places.

The ruling left it up to individual states to approve if it wanted sports gambling.

Mississippi is the only state so far in the 10-state footprint of the S.E.C. that has approved legalized sports gambling.
