Drought Problems continue to move into Southesast Missouri

(Farmington) Just about every part of the Regional Radio listening area is under abnormally dry conditions and some areas are in moderate drought conditions right now.

That’s according to the U.S. Drought Monitor map. Areas not abnormally dry at the moment include most of Jefferson, most of St. Francois, all of Ste. Genevieve and the northern portion of Perry County.

Western Reynolds, southern Dent and southern Wayne counties are now seeing moderate drought conditions.

Northern Missouri is still seeing the worst of it with extreme drought conditions plus, one northern county is now having exceptional drought conditions.
