(BISMARCK, Mo.) – The new budget for the 2018-19 school year is now set at the Bismarck School District. Superintendent Jason King said the school board approved the budget at Monday night’s board meeting.
One of the new portions of the budget is funding for new school resource officer Scott LaHay, who started with the district on the first day of school. King said LaHay’s addition has improved school safety.
The new budget also includes a few staff additions in the communication arts and special education departments.
