2019 Festus Boys Track and Field Season Preview

(FESTUS) State placers Max McDaniel and Jaylan Watson are returning for their senior seasons to lead the 2019 Festus boys track and field squad.

Max finished 4th in the 1,600-meter run last year and Jaylan finished 4th in the long jump, breaking a Festus record. Tigers head coach Chris Partney has seen improvements from both guys this offseason.

With cross country guys like Max McDaniel, Jonah Krieg, Simon Ogle, and Garrett Rhine, coach Partney knows he has a strong distance group. Partney is also pleased with the athletes that have come out and joined the sprint team.
