2019 Festus Softball Off to 0-1 Start, But Have Great Offensive Burst

(FESTUS) The Festus softball Tigers have Abby Rickermann and company returning under Jeff Montgomery for 2019. Coach Montgomery says that Rickermann, who has been on Dream Team 3 times, is a generational talent.

 
But Abby Rickermann is not alone, of course. Coach Montgomery introduces some of his other anticipated key contributors.

 
Festus opened the season on Tuesday with a road game against Farmington and lost 13-9. Now the Tigers shift their focus to Wednesday afternoon as they take on Northwest at Sunset Park.

 
The Northwest Lions took on Jefferson R-7 Tuesday and won 10-6. First pitch for Northwest and Festus on Wednesday is scheduled for 4:30 with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show beginning at 4:15 on AM 1400 KJFF.
