(Cedar Hill) Sheriff’s deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a burglary call earlier this week to a residence on Craig Drive in Cedar Hill.
In a report, the victim stated the home belonged to his deceased father and that the residence had been vacant for approximately two years.
It was stated in the report that numerous items such as a heater 170T, Memphis Audio 4 channel AMP, flat screen TV, and a computer monitor just to name a few were missing from the home.
Also, damage to an abandoned 1997 Chevrolet Suburban stationed in the front yard was reported. A neighbor stated to police that they observed an unknown make or model white truck at the residence a day prior to police being contacted.
The property is estimated as more than a 2,400 dollars loss to the owner.
