Winter Storm Warning Issued for much of the Listening Area

(Regional Radio News) A winter storm is in the making across the Midwest and it’s primary target is centered on the Regional Radio Listening Area on Friday afternoon through much of Saturday.

Meteorologist Jared Maples with the National Weather Service in St. Louis says precipitation will have a tough time falling initially due to the dry atmosphere; however, that should change as the day progresses.

Maples runs down the snowfall amounts we could receive.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for much of the listening area starting at noon on Friday and running through Saturday night.
