Jefferson College Baseball Ready to Make World Series Run in 2019 with Some New Faces

(HILLSBORO) We are 17 days away from the college baseball season as the Jefferson College Vikings look poised to return to the Junior College World Series.

New head coach Kevin Moulder was able to get an influx of talented freshman and transfers this offseason, beginning with Murray State’s Grant Wood.

Returning guys from last year’s team include Matt Turino, Jason Rackers, Anthony Green, Riley Boyd, Nick Hagedorn, Austin Hicks, Austin Cheeley, and Adam Link; all of them have committed to a university for 2020. The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) released its first pre-season rankings Tuesday and the Vikings are 5th.
