Jefferson County Moderate Accident

(Jefferson County) Three people were injured in a three vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1985 Ford Ranger being driven by 55-year-old Steven Canada of Cedar Hill was driving on Route MM at Rainbow Drive when he traveled across the double yellow line and struck the front of a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban being driven by 31-year-old Nicole Sobocinski of St. Louis.

Canada continued on to strike a 2018 Hyundai Elantra being driven by 80-year-old Roger Beckermann of Bradenton, Florida before running off the right side of the road striking a ditch.

Canada received minor injuries while Beckermann suffered moderate injuries and Beckermann’s passenger, 79-year-old Doris Hartnett of Bradenton, Florida received minor injuries.

All three were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
