Emergency Services in De Soto Continue to Grow After Passage of Prop Public Safety

(De Soto) Things continue to be on the up and up in the City of De Soto in regards to emergency services.

Registered voters in the city voted in favor of Prop Public Safety back in April which allowed the city to impose a sales tax of one percent with the funds going towards public safety.

De Soto Police Chief Jeff McCreary says they continue to grow and build great relationships with the community each day.

McCreary mentions since the passage of Prop Public Safety, they have been able to do a lot of updating.

De Soto’s Proposition Public Safety was approved by voters with 68 percent of the vote back in April’s election.
