St. Louis Man Killed in Auto Accident in Jefferson County

(St. Louis, Mo.) A man from St. Louis was killed in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place northbound on Highway 67, just north of Buck Creek Road, when a Sterling semi-truck driven by 43-year-old Brian Real of St. Louis traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, then traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck the concrete median barrier.

Real was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Three vehicles traveling southbound on Highway 67 were struck with debris from the concrete barrier during the crash but no injuries were reported from those vehicles.
