Two Killed In Tuesday Traffic Accident In Reynolds County

Two people were killed and one person was injured in a two vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Reynolds County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 41-year old Edward Baugh of Black was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Blazer, traveling northbound on Highway 49, seven miles north of Lesterville.

The crash occurred when Baugh and his Blazer crossed the center line and collided head on with another vehicle.

That vehicle was a Freightliner M2106, and it was being driven by 52-year old Joseph Miller of Poplar Bluff.

Baugh and an unnamed 16-year old female passenger were killed in the crash.

Miller sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Iron County Hospital to be treated.
