2020 Washington County Fair in Potosi Cancelled

(Potosi) Another big event has been cancelled due to the pandemic.

This summer’s Washington County Fair in Potosi is the latest victim.

Organizers say a fair with social distancing is not a fair.

The decision was made by the fair board after much research, consideration and speaking with local health department officials.

Organizers are working on a plan for 4-H livestock exhibitors.

They know your part of the fair started months ago and they want you to be able to see them through.

Advanced ticket holders should hold onto those passes because they will be valid in 2021.
