(Jefferson City) Sandy Karsten spoke yesterday during Governor Mike Parson’s Coronavirus news briefing.

During the question and answer period, she was asked about allowing restaurants to sell “to go” alcoholic beverages.

This was her answer.

Karsten explains the guidelines for the policy.

The “to go” beverages have to be sealed until you get out of the car.

And to be clear, this is a temporary way to help businesses in Missouri.

Karsten wants everyone to know Missouri is against drunk driving and encourages everyone to be safe with this.

Again, this is a temporary fix to help small restaurants in these difficult times.
