These two teams met about a week and half ago on East Carter’s home court with the Redbirds winning 54-45. Bunker head coach Brandon Robinson says his team had a couple of chances to win in the late stages of the first game.

East Carter looks to defend their home court once again. The Redbirds and Eagles tip-off at 12:30 on J-98.

After a short break in varsity action we pick our coverage back up around 4:45 for the girls championship game which is a rematch of last year’s thriller between #1 South Iron (11-3) and #2 Ellington (10-3). South Iron topped Ellington earlier this season 64-51. However, the Whippets were without one of their key play-makers in Gretchen Hackworth and head coach David Burrows thinks she may be the difference in this one.

South Iron head coach Lawrence Graves thinks this Whippets team is special because of their team chemistry.

The Panthers and Whippets tip-off right around 5:00 on J-98.
