5 Local Girls Teams & 3 Local Boys Teams in Latest State Basketball Rankings

(Farmington) The latest high school basketball rankings were released Thursday from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.
First in girls hoops for Class 1, the South Iron Lady Panthers are ranked 3rd.
The defending Class 2 girls state champs, the Ellington Lady Whippets are ranked 1st.
The Steelville Lady Cardinals are ranked 8th in Class 3.
The Central Lady Rebels are ranked 10th in Class 4.
The Farmington Knightettes are 6th in Class 5.
In boys basketball, the defending state champs, the South Iron Panthers are still ranked 1st in Class 1 and the Bunker Eagles are ranked 8th in Class 1 while the Steelville Cardinals are ranked 10th in the state in Class 3 boys basketball.
