50th Annual Jefferson County Rodeo Coming up June 11-12

(Jefferson County) The 50th annual Jefferson County Rodeo is coming up June 11th-12th at the county fairgrounds.

The rodeo, like many other events, was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.

Jefferson County Rodeo Chairman Doug Goforth says gates open at 5 both nights with the rodeo getting underway at 7.

A cowboy and cowgirl contest will be held for kids 8 and under on Saturday.

There will also be live musical entertainment both nights.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for ages 6-12 and children under 5 get in for free.

Once again the Jefferson County Rodeo is coming up on Friday, June 11th and Saturday, June 12th.
