MAC Board Of Trustees Look Ahead To Spring Semester

(Park Hills) The start of the spring semester was discussed at Thursday’s Mineral Area College Board of Trustees meeting in Park Hills. After a couple of rough years financially, MAC President Doctor Joe Gilgour says they’re optimistic about the year ahead. One of the big reason for that optimism is all the federal money coming into the state for COVID relief.

Spring classes kick off January 18th at the college. Enrollment was also discussed at the meeting. As of right now, the headcount stands at 1,657 students, down from 1,775 last year. Those students are taking 18,689 credit hours this spring.
