Bunker Junior Cade Sutton Leaps Onto Basketball Dream Team

(Reynolds County) Bunker Eagles junior Cade Sutton landed himself a spot on the Regional Radio Winter Dream Team. Sutton averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds a game in his penultimate season which is more than impressive after averaging nearly 20 and 10 his sophomore season. Bunker coach Rod Gorman has been in the business for over 40 years and, at the time, said Sutton was “the best sophomore” he ever coached. Sutton took that to heart.

His game didn’t improve overnight, but it’s usually dark outside when he’s working on it.

Asked what game was his best or if he had a favorite game this season, the junior was very humble.

That humbleness carried over to the people he wanted to thank for his success.

Bunker finished 21-6 this season.
