Ste. Genevieve’s Gavin Huck Shoots Onto Golf Dream Team

(Ste. Genevieve) Gavin Huck of the Ste. Genevieve Dragons shot his way onto the 2022 Regional Radio Boys’ Golf Spring Dream Team. Huck played in the Class 3 State Championships at Sedalia Country Club and finished tied for 21st with a two-day score of 156. Huck shot an 81 on the first day and followed up with a 75 on day 2 of the event. He says he got more comfortable with the course.

Huck had an 18 hole average of 86 last season. He says his distance off the tee gives him an advantage but he’s working on straightening out his drives.

Huck is very appreciative of the people that have helped him on his golf journey.

Huck was also all-district and all-conference, finishing in 2nd place at each event.
