Mineral Area College Partners with Missouri Highway Patrol as Trooper Recruiting Season Is Underway

(Jefferson City) If you have wanted to become a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, now is the best time to get yourself on that path.

Captain Jason Pace says the patrol is looking for applicants for their next recruit classes.

The accelerated recruit class is 15 weeks and the traditional recruit class is 25 weeks.

Captain Pace says the salary for a trooper is pretty decent.

Captain Pace says the college in Park Hills is partnered up with the highway patrol.

Upon graduating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s academy, troopers will be eligible to earn up to 46 credit hours through Mineral Area College in Park Hills.
