96th Arcadia Valley High School Fall Festival Highlights Weekend of Fun in the Valley

(Ironton) Fun will be had by all in the Arcadia Valley this weekend.
Arcadia Valley High School students have been hard at work preparing for the school’s fall festival which may be the oldest event of it’s kind on the west side of the Mississippi River.
Ashley Turnbough is this year’s fall festival coordinator.
Ashley says the Arcadia Valley will be buzzing with activity this weekend.
Turnbough explains the process on how the Arcadia Valley Fall Festival queen is selected.
The Arcadia Valley Fall Mountain Music Festival takes place on the Iron County Courthouse square in Ironton.
Friday evening at 5, bring your instrument for Pickin’ Around the Square.
Then at 6:30, Five Ton Faces, a roots rock band will perform.
Saturday morning at 11, there’s a fiddle contest to kick off the days’ music.
Then, George Portz and Friends of Bluegrass performs.
At 1:30, The Punches will play music.
At 3:30, you can enjoy the music of Dixie Union and the final band of the music festival is The Baker Family who will hit the gazebo stage at 5:30 Saturday evening.
