Alec Bell Makes Dream Team, Leads Festus Boys Soccer Program to First-Ever Winning Season

(FESTUS) Alec Bell’s right boot landed him on the 2019 Soccer Dream Team and helped completely flip the Festus program around as the Tigers went from a 4-win team in 2018 to a 14-win team in 2019.

Bell was the only Tiger on the soccer Dream Team but says that he doesn’t make it on there nor does this team win 14 games without others chipping in.

Bell scored 32 goals and assisted on 12 others as a junior midfielder for Festus. Bell takes us back to the first game of this year against Valley Park as his favorite game so far in his career.

Alec Bell of Festus soccer has totaled 60 goals in three seasons to go along with All-Conference and All-District selections, twice.

To give further credit to others, Festus soccer head coach Austin Burgurt took over a program that was winless in 2016 and turned it into a 14-win program in just three years. Those 14 wins represent the most in program history and the 14-7 record represents the first-ever winning season in program history.
