All Inclusive Playground Groundbreaking In Farmington

(Farmington) A number of people turned out Tuesday afternoon for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new all-inclusive playground being built at Engler Park in Farmington. Colin Rogers is a vice president at Brockmiller Construction in Farmington. They are donating a lot of the labor and parts for the project. He says a lot of people have worked to make this happen.

Teri Morton is with the group Play it Forward in the Parkland. We asked her how she got the idea for the playground in the first place.

Morton says it’s a blessing to see so many people be a part of this project.

If all goes well, the 20,000 square foot all inclusive playground will be open next spring. The existing playground equipment at Engler Park is also going to be put to good use. It’s being donated to St. Paul Elementary School in Farmington for their use.
