(Arnold) The State of the County address, presented by the Jefferson County Growth Association will take place in two weeks. However, the event will be an all-virtual program due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jefferson County Executive Dennis Gannon says it’s unfortunate it had to be done this year, but he’s happy the program will still happen.

The event will also feature other speakers including Fox Superintendent Dr. Nisha Patel, JCGA President Dan Govero, and Jefferson County Tourism President Scott Seek. The event would have been held at Fox High School before it was changed to a virtual program.

The Jefferson County State of the County address will take place online at JCGAMO dot org on Monday, February 15th at 8am. KJFF will air the audio from the event on February 18th at 9am. JCGA President Dan Govero will preview the State of the County on Friday morning at 7:30 on KJFF.
