Amendment 3 Legal Marijuana Advocate Answers to Opposition

(Farmington) Legal Missouri is fighting back on the opposition that’s ramped up their rhetoric over the past couple weeks regarding Amendment 3 that would legalize, tax and regulate the adult use of marijuana.

John Payne is the deputy treasurer of Legal Missouri.

He says voting yes would change law enforcement’s focus to real criminals.

Payne tells us why Missouri lawmakers are wary of putting this amendment into the state’s constitution.

He also explains what will happen to the states’ medical marijuana industry if Amendment 3 is approved.

And Payne says Missouri would gain so much if the amendment is approved.

The election is coming up on Tuesday.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.
