(Bunker) A man from Annapolis was injured after a two vehicle accident Thursday night in Dent County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Highway 72 at First Street in Bunker when a custom motorcycle ridden by 66-year-old Randolph Rhyneer was stopped at the intersection.

A Dodge Dakota pickup driven by 19-year-old Malcolm Barton of Bunker failed to yield and struck the left side of the motorcycle.

Rhyneer and a passenger were both thrown from the bike.

Rhyneer received moderate injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

No word from the highway patrol on the condition of the passenger.
