Applicant Outshines the Others Vying for Position to Oversee Big Projects Coming to Ste. Genevieve School District

(Ste. Genevieve) The Ste. Genevieve Board of Education has been busy of late, looking at the candidates who applied for a new position for the district.

Bailey Otto is the communications director at the district.

She says whoever is chosen will oversee all the improvement or renovation projects that will take place in the district thanks to the passage of Prop S.G. back in April.

Otto says the school board has decided on who to go with after the candidates had been whittled down to two.

And here’s what put Brockmiller Construction over the top in what Otto says was an excellent field of applicants.

Otto says hopefully by the fall, dates should start being set for when actual construction work on the various projects in the Ste. Genevieve School District will begin.

Otto says they have to begin by signing contracts and they have to also wait for the architectural firm to get a solid initial design plan for the various improvement or renovation projects.
