Area cities are prepped for more wintery mix

(Jefferson County) Area cities appear to be ready to do more plowing and salting with the latest winter storm threat. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says they had to order some additional salt supplies after the recent weather situations.

Crystal City City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says they recently added more supplies.

Pevely City Administrator Andy Hixon says they are ready for more, but certainly tired of the weather threats.

Road crews from each city, the county, and MODOT will be working in shifts to keep the roads as clear and safe as possible throughout the day and tonight (Thursday).
